Sesame Street Live

The kids and Daddy had a special adventure today. Sesame Street Live!! Sadly, Mommy missed out on the excitement, thanks to a nasty stomach bug (that struck Brienne, too, earlier in the week). As reported by Daddy, the kids loved the show -- especially Brienne. Hopefully Aiden's not getting too old for Sesame. I'd love to take them again next year -- and hopefully not get sick this time around.....

Happy Birthday, Ethan!!

One of the kids' best buds, Ethan, turned 3 this month. It was a Super Hero style celebration....

......complete with a guest appearance by Batman! Aiden didn't so much want to meet Batman. I think it was mostly an act, but he hid under a slide until Batman left the premises!

Phase I of Daddy's New Playspace

At long last, construction has begun on Sean's new office in the attic. Materials were delivered this morning via a boom truck direct to the attic window. The kids were fascinated, watching from our bedroom window. They were totally hamming it up for the operator of the truck, who, much to their delight, played right along with their silliness by making funny faces and entertaining Brienne with a game of peek-a-boo.

Princesses & Pirates

Twins in Aiden's preschool celebrated their 4th birthday with a Princess & Pirate themed party at a local bookstore. Aiden was very excited to wear his pirate Halloween costume once again.

The twins' little sister is Brienne's age. They do gymnastics together and have become fast friends. She and Elizabeth will be in the same preschool class in the fall, and Brienne couldn't be more thrilled.

Cat Eating Pteranodon

These prehistoric bird-like dinosaurs were widely known to be fish eaters, but is seems as though these two Pteranodon that Sean fashioned out of card boxes for Aiden ate our cats!
