Who Let The Wild Animal In The House

Moose hind legs, and pink rabbit front legs.  What kind of animal is this anyway??

First Field Trip

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to chaperone Aiden's first preschool field trip to Tyngsboro Sports Center this week.  (Bree had her first playdate without Mommy at her best friend, Elizabeth's house, which was equally exciting!)  Pretty sure the highlight of the day was the bus ride, which was a first for most of the kids.  :-)

Princess Party

This morning we went to one of Aiden's preschool friend's birthday party.  Definitely got some good ideas for the Princess Party that Bree is already requesting for birthday #3 in July.  :-)

Dino Dan

"Dino Dan" peruses his field guide, while wearing the new vest the Easter Bunny left for him.  Can you believe the Easter Bunny visited us in Florida AND at home??  He's one busy bunny!

Almost home!

Stopped at our favorite "watering hole" on the way home from the airport for lunch.  Princess Bree and Stygimoloch Aiden got creative with their Wiki Stix.

Future Paleotologist

Chipping away in search of fossils with the fossil kit he chose as a souvenir from Dinosaur World.

Dinosaur World

There's no better place on earth that you could possibly take your dinosaur obsessed 4 1/2 year old than DINOSAUR WORLD in Plant City, FL. This place far exceeded my expectations, filling an entire day with more dinosaur stuff than you could imagine.

The kids participated in a "fossil dig" where they could select 3 of their favorite fossils to take home.

Entrance to the Dinosaur Trails.

Daddy took pictures of every single dinosaur and the signs educating us on each dinosaur. It may seem like I've included pictures of each one in this blog post, but believe me, this is nothing but a teeny tiny sample of what we saw.

Styracosaurus:

Iguanadon:

T.Rex

Chasmosaurus:

Triceratops:

Our tour guide....

Oops! Yep - T.Rex IS a carnivore!

Dinosaurs and puzzles -- Aiden's two most favorite things!

The only non-dinosaur entertainment at Dinosaur World....

Leave it to Brienne to find a pink dino!

There was a smallish dinosaur animatronics display inside the museum. It was kinda cool, but unfortunately, the kids didn't really dig it. I guess it was a little too much for a 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old.

This was pretty cool. There was a wall full of dinosaurs, and you had to guess the dino by putting your hands in the holes to "touch & feel" their features. Aiden got more right than the rest of us. Surprise, surprise.

Bone dig.

This picture just cracked me up because we couldn't get Brienne to straighten her head behind the wall!
