Beantown with the Barrios

Our cousins from Maine came down a day early for Aiden's birthday celebration so we could all visit the New England Aquarium.  Sadly, the penguins were "on vacation" this week.  Apparently, the penguins were the primary exhibit Joe Joe was interested in seeing.  Sorry, love!  We still managed to see lots of marine life, and had a fun time hanging out with Joseph and Liam (….and random boy who  stood in for Aiden, who didn't want to be in the family picture!!)

Hmmm….. try to beat the Friday rush hour traffic outta Boston, or scope out the carousels down the block on the new greenway??  Definitely carousels.  We'll pay the price on the way home….  :-)

Tiny Ballerinas

Pretty sure there's nothing cuter than a studio full of 3 year old girls all dolled up in their leotards and tutus.  <3

We signed up for ballet along with Bree's good friend, Elizabeth.  Today was their first day and we were pleasantly surprised to find 3 more little girls from their preschool class there, too!  It's going to be a fun year!

She's not a poser or anything!!  Lol!!

Another Reunion

On our way home from PA, we stopped in Newtown, CT to visit some good friends who we hadn't seen in a long time.  2 1/2 year old William was a FABULOUS host!  Great to see you, Carol & Eric!!

Party Time!

Ventured to Allentown, PA for the Bar Mitzvah of Sean's college friend's son.  It was a fun opportunity to catch up with many of "The Harvards" who we hadn't seen in a few years.

The Dinosaur Place

Headed to Allentown, PA for the weekend, and decided to take a slight detour to The Dinosaur Place in Oakdale, CT.  It was on our "To Do" list for the summer, given Aiden's continued obsession with dinosaurs.  The kids had a fun time, but to be honest, it paled in comparison to Dinosaur World.

The highlight of the afternoon was life-size maze that ended with a trip down T-Rex's gullet.  Aiden loves to do mazes on paper these days, so do be able to run through a physical maze was really cool!

Determined to get the best seat in the house to view the volcano that was scheduled to erupt momentarily.

Soooooo happy to finally be joining her big brother at Westford Preschool!
