Another Hot One!

The water's still a little icy (after all it IS still May), but that would never stop Brienne.  She got some relief from the heat at our favorite local beach.

Aiden was content to watch and play around on the beach.

Beach Day!

It's a hot one today!  Good thing it was "beach day" at school.  And bonus, Mommy volunteered in Aiden's class today, so I got to see both of my kiddos having fun at the WPS "beach".  :-)

Bree said to her teacher, "I think I got more wet than I was supposed to get."

Meanwhile, Aiden steered clear of the sprinkler and got his entertainment making giant bubbles.

Happy Memorial Day!!

After a mostly rainy weekend, the sun finally came out!  A picnic lunch at the playground was the perfect way to end the weekend.

Mother's Day in Maine

Grammy got some rare affection from Aiden this morning (note his arm around her shoulder, playing with her hair while she reads to him).  We all miss snuggly Aiden, but he does re-appear every so often.  Today it must have been a special Mother's Day treat for Grammy.  All of 5 1/2 and already too cool for cuddles.  PS - we adopted a new child over the weekend.  She's about two years old (or at least wears a 2T) and is seated on the couch next to Brienne.  Her name is Jahla, not to be confused with Bree's cousin -- this is her "sister".  

Oh the things that happen under Uncle Barrio's watch….  Can you say "BRRRRRR!!!!"?

The Westford Road Race was today, and Mommy wasn't the only one running this year.  Bree, Aiden & Daddy did the Family Fun Run!  Go Team Gouldson!!

Post race, the girls picked lovely dandelion bouquets for one another.  ;-)
