All glammed up for New Year's Eve!  We may have to adjust our tradition of hosting our adult-only dinner party after the kiddos go to bed.  It never bothered them in the past, but they were miffed this year to miss out on the late night festivities....

Normally, we'd have a lazy pajama day at home on Christmas before heading to Maine to celebrate the holidays with Mommy's side of the family.    But with the weather so unseasonably warm, we headed to the track and playground instead to take advantage of this gorgeous day.

My first attempt at homemade gingerbread houses.  Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.  Our neighbor is hosting her annual gingerbread decorating party tomorrow evening for the kids.  Bree decorated hers this afternoon so she could partake in my cookie swap tomorrow night, which conflicts with the neighborhood party.

It was an early release day at school, so I had a helper to decorate my cookies for tomorrow night.  :-)

Taekwondo Tournament

Today was the annual tournament at Achieve Taekwondo.  The girls competed today for the first time, and did great!
