Groton Forest Bells

Back to Groton this morning to explore the Forest Bells.  The rest of Grammy & Grampy's visit was a little on the soggy side, so we didn't get to do the other fun stuff (like the bike ride) we had planned.  This was fun, though, and it was a beautiful morning to be out for a little hike.

Gibbet Hill

Grammy & Grampy made the trip down to see Aiden's concert last night.  We had never taken them to Gibbet Hill before, so tonight was supposed to be our special treat.  But those buggers grabbed the check, and called it an anniversary present.  Thank you, Mom & Dad! 

Aiden's Strings Concert

What a treat tonight, hearing the Crisafulli strings students demonstrate all they've learned this year.  Aiden played the viola, and has actually gotten pretty good.  Hopefully he'll stick with it next year.

Next year, these two goof balls will be on the stage with their older siblings.

East Boston Camps

Contemplating life at East Boston Camps.  LOL!  Bree went on a hike with Dad, while Aiden went for run with Mom.  Fun way to spend one-on-one time with each kiddo.

New Specs

Guess I should have given them more credit when they told me they were having a hard time seeing.  Both had prescription changes.  Lucky that we're on new insurance, since it hasn't been a year yet.....  Love their choices of frames this year.  They choose them entirely on their own, and did a great job!

Legoland Field Trip

Today I had the pleasure of accompanying Aiden's class on their field trip to The Legoland Discovery Center.

Aiden's Cub Scout Pack marched in the parade again this year.  Cold morning for the event this year.  Aiden's all bundled up, hiding his cub scout uniform.  LOL!

Robifulli Fun Fest

While Daddy and Bree were at the Dance, Aiden & I went to the Robifulli (Robinson & Crisafulli schools) Fun Fest.  I made 2 cakes for the "Cake Walk" event.

Let the Races Begin!

Today was the Westford Road Race.   I couldn't convince Aiden to do the 5K with me, but based on his performance in the Family Fun Run, he has no excuses next year.  He came in 14th overall, running a 7 min: 38 sec mile!!!  

Got to run a bit of the race with Aiden's best bud.  If I can't convince Aiden to run the 5k next year, maybe Andrew can!

I wasn't quite as fast as Aiden, but I did have a faster pace than my normal 5k, as of late.  15th place for my age group, right smack in the middle of the pack.  Must have been the excitement of the event.
