Il Forno

Grampy insisted on treating everyone to dinner tonight, so we chose Il Forno which recently reopened in a new location.  The kids were getting restless while our table was being prepared. Luckily, Uncle Adam is a really good sport.

Thank goodness we were the only ones in this back room.  Oh man.  Next time Grampy offers to treat us to dinner, I think McDonalds may be a better choice......

#10 - Star Wars & Bowling

Aiden chose to celebrate his birthday with his friends Star Wars-style at Wamesit Lanes.

Daddy missed most of the party due to a work trip, but surprised us on his way home from the airport.  One happy boy to see Dad.  :-)

Firetower Hike

Wish I could say it was peaceful night's sleep.  The kids were great, but we had a little (big?) beast(s) outside of our tent at least twice during the night.  It ripped into our garbage (which was hanging from a tree), and made a semi-successful attempt at clawing it's way into our bin with dry goods and dishes (that's what woke me up!!!).  We will press on and hope to have a great day, despite the bags under my eyes!

Camping!

This weekend we are returning to Pawtuckaway for a 3-night get away.  We left after school today, and the kids will be playing hooky tomorrow.  The forecast for the weekend looks great!  Here's our lakeside campsite, pre-setup.  Sean did his research last October when he went on a multi-day solo camping trip, and scoped out what he thought was the best campsite here.  Looks good to me!

First Decade

It's a BIG birthday for Aiden today!!  Happy 10th, buddy!!

My 20 year college reunion was this weekend, so it seemed a perfect time to get the kids outfitted with some Babson gear.  :-)
