Trick-Or-Treat

Trick-or-Treat was technically postponed in Westford due to mass power outages on the other side of town, following a high wind / rain storm on Sunday night.  The kids have not had school so far this week.  But...since our side of town DOES have power, and we live on the Littleton line (where trick-or-treat was NOT postponed), we made a collective decision in our neighborhood to go forth with the fun.  About half of the houses we hit every year are in Littleton, anyway.  

Let the fun begin!  Bree's emoji costume was her idea, and the two of us made it.  Not bad, huh?  I'm not exactly sure what Aiden went as.  Ninja / Power Ranger?

Brownies - Fire Station Tour

Bree led a Fire Safety fun patch for her brownie troop this afternoon, which included a tour of the Westford Fire Department.

Not long after our tour began, a call came to the dispatch office and our friendly fire fighters had to respond.  It was pretty exciting to be there when they were being called to duty!  We thought that was going to be the end of our tour.....

.....but luckily, it was a false alarm.  All but one truck came back to the station and we were able to continue on with the program.  Here are the girls (and a couple brothers) in the back of an ambulance.

Great Brook Farm
