No school at Crisafulli today, thanks to a power outage and malfunctioning boiler. The kids aren't too broken up about it. Bree's at a friends house, so Aiden had friend over to maintain "fairness".
We can finally check this off the bucket list. My future American Ninja Warriors have been BEGGING to check out Gymja in Woburn. So here we are, at last! I gravely underestimated how beaten up the kids would be from this self-inflicted workout. Aiden had to skip out on his evening Taekwondo class tonight due to soreness and wounded palms.... LOL!
Last day! Sadly, we didn't get to ski with Joe Joe this weekend. He took a spill on his first run on Saturday, and ended up with a concussion. :-( Here's the rest of the crew, though.
Happy 7th birthday to this guy, today!! We love you, Liam!
We left them to their own devices for a short while, so Sean & I could take one more run from the top. Getting so independent! It's a little scary, I must admit.....
Don't let the sunshine fool you. It was a cold one out there.... Warming up with a little hot cocoa break at Bullwinkle's.
Investigating one of the fun little huts along Moose Alley on our way back to the condo.
Took us a while, but we're finally getting some use out of the ski rental this year, with our annual trip up to Sugarloaf. Amazing conditions, after a full day of snow yesterday!
Meanwhile, these two are prepping for their Girl Scout Meeting today -- tracking the troop's cookie sales progress in order to earn their Cookie CEO Badge.
Last meet of the year of these kiddos. We'll continue to practice, though, until summer season begins. (Aiden was busy with other adventures this weekend - birthday party and Pinewood Derby, and wasn't able to participate in meet.)
The Crisafulli STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Fair was this evening. Looks like we've got one science minded kid, and one engineer.
Bree and her friend, Elena, tested various materials to help remove oil from water.
Aiden created a model "ninja warrior" swing with a built in mechanism that's intended to return the swing to the beginning of the obstacle for the next contestant.
