Boy Scouts

Aiden had his crossover ceremony from Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts this evening.

A couple of his good buddies came for the festivities, including Andrew who will also be in his new troop.

Always the comedian.... (insert eye roll here).

The newest Boy Scouts in Troop 195 and some of their new scouting colleagues.  All of the boys from Aiden's den decided to join the same troop, which is pretty nice.  Aiden's been with these boys since 2nd grade.  Some of them have been together since 1st grade.

Good Deed

Aiden & I spent a couple of hours today cleaning up a horrifying amount of roadside garbage on Beaver Book Road.  Our goal was to clean all the way from our house down to Rt. 225, but based on the volume and the time spent, we'll need to finish up our intended goal another day.  People are GROSS!!

Date with The Osbornes

We took our annual bowling expedition with the Osborne crew to Kings in Boston this year, following lunch at the Parish Cafe.  Today was supposed to be a ski day for us all, but it poured rain last night.  Maybe next year we'll hit the slopes together....

Sporting a fun new t-shirt from Nan.  She was so excited when she opened it.  She exclaimed, "Guess what it has on it?!?!"  So I guessed -- emojis, poop or cats.  Low and behold, it has ALL THREE!  LOL!

Seating!

Alas, we have seating for more than just Sean in our sunroom.  It's only been 7 months.  Perhaps someday we'll have something other than a folding banquet table to eat at.....

eSPECIALly sweet NEEDS

Treated ourselves to some cupcakes from eSPECIALly sweet NEEDS today.  Heard about this bakery from a friend, and we had to check it out.  Will definitely be back!!

Spring Skiing

After 12 1/2 years living in Westford, we finally skied Nashoba Valley.  It's much smaller than what the kids are used to, but it's SO close to home.  And it was a beautiful day to be skiing.  No lift lines, either.  Pretty sweet.

Boy Scouts

Aiden was invited to his buddy's crossover ceremony this evening.  They have been in different dens for cub scouts, but will be joining the same Boy Scout troop going forward.

World Thinking Day

Our troop presented Italy and China this year.  The girls learned lots, and had a fun night with their friends and other Westford girl scouts.

Last Den Meeting

Celebrating with pizza party at our house.  The boys will all be crossing over to Boy Scouts at the end of this month.

Why is she hiding her eyebrows, you ask?  Well, she doesn't want photographic evidence of the eyebrows she decide to pluck -- by HERSELF!!!  Let's just say each eyebrow now has a hole in the middle.  Perhaps it'll be a new trend.....

It's hard to believe this is our 6th year (!!) taking the girls to high tea.  This year we went to the Boston Harbor Hotel.  Perhaps the best yet!
