Roudy Halloween Party

The Roundenbush Halloween Parade turned into more of a party today, due to terrible outdoor weather.  Our troop was in charge of the monitoring the inflatables....until the fire department made us shut them down.  They kept causing the smoke alarms to triggers.  Bummer for all those little kids who wanted to jump.

The girls still had fun, and earned themselves some community service hours.

Bree and I volunteered at Carve for Carson today.  Carson was the grandchild of one of our neighbors.  💔

Bree had an AMAZING first meet of the season today.  She took double digits off of all her best times for her 100 yard events (free, back and breast).  She loves this sport so much!💙

Aiden will hold off on the meets until Cross Country is over, since he's only going to swim practice once a week right now.

Apple Picking

The apples weren't abundant at Drew Farm today.  Guess we were a little late in the season for the prime picking, but we managed to scrounge up a beautiful, tasty peck anyway.  It was gorgeous weather for walking around the orchard.  Time for some apple crisp!

Many hands make light work.  Sean had a helper today, roofing the new addition to the shed (like it needed to be even bigger 😳).
