So Much to Be Thankful For

It sure wasn't our typical Thanksgiving, but with everything going on in the world right now, we sure have a lot to be thankful for.  We missed our extended families today, but had an opportunity to FaceTime with both sets of grandparents, and our East Coast cousins.  XOXO

Someone was very interested in what was on the dining room table.  

A few sniffs of turkey was all it took to send Francesca into cat nap mode.  That's some powerful tryptophan.

Frankie fell fast asleep while playfully biting Aiden and getting a tummy rub.  He a natural cat whisperer.  It's hilarious how she can go from crazy pants to passed out cold in an instant.😹

Turns out little the stinker came home to us with fleas.  :-(

First step, vacuuming the house from top to bottom.  Second step, a million loads of laundry.  Third step, a bath for little miss in the kitchen sink.  Poor thing was NOT impressed.

She has quickly found the coziest spot in the house.  Survived night #1.  She slept in Bree's room, and might have been a little playful, but Bree's holding up ok so far....  

 

Welcome to Our Family, Francesca!

We drove to Maine today to collect our little bundle of fur.  Francesca was born to a litter belonging to my childhood best friend and next door neighbor.  We hadn't seen each other in 30 or so years.  It was quite a reunion. Frankie was such a good girl on the long drive home to Massachusetts.  We are so excited to welcome her to our family and we are SOOOOO in love!

So playful!  She seems to adjusting well to our home.

Dinner time!  Both front paws IN the food dish.  LOL!

It was an exhausting day.....💗

Our little buddy, Shravan, recently finished up 2 years of treatment for lymphoma.  Today we celebrated the end of this very long road for him and his family.  (And yes, the kids have been told that they CANNOT wear these t-shirts to school.  LOL!)
