Today's hike took us through the woods behind the kids' elementary schools, and their future high school.

Love Me My Tummy Rubs!

Miss Frankie was spayed on Monday, hence the surgical onesie.  She looks so darn cute in it.  It's not been easy trying to get this crazy kitty to take it easy.  Not even the sedative can stop her from zooming up and down the stairs and jumping on furniture.  It's not going to be an easy recovery....

Today's hike was a pretty cool one!  We've been to other parts of Oak Hill in the past, but the chasm was neat.

Bubble Tea

This is how tweenagers hang out with their friends during COVID.  It was too cold and windy to drink their bubble tea outdoors.  We even got some crazy snow squalls.  Someday we'll be able to enjoy each other's company indoors again....

 

Groton Hike

Continuing our weekly hikes by exploring a new place in Groton Today.

Grandma (Babchi) passed away on Tuesday of this week.  She loved birds, and I've always thought of her whenever I see blue birds in particular.  There's not much spring color yet in the woods of Massachusetts, so it was easy to spot this blue bird amongst the colorless landscape.  I think it was Babchi coming to say hello.  💙

Library Cooking Class - Cream Cheese Brownies

Bree and her friend Nat have signed up for several online cooking classes offered by our local library.  Today they made cream cheese brownies.  Nat is the first friend we've had indoors since COVID.  It's kind of a monumental day. (The brownies were great, by the way!)
