Hostess with the Mostest

Bree's having some friends over for a firepit this evening, and decided to bake some cookies -- all by herself.  They turned out pretty yummy, despite a couple of snafus following directions....

"Hey -- I'm one of the girls, too!  Can I come out and play???"

First Day of FULL DAY School - Yahoo!!!

Long time coming, but we're back to full-time school today!!  Both "pods" will be back together, however, those who choose to learn remotely this year can continue to do so at least through the end of this school year.  Still wearing masks for the time being. Hopefully by the fall life will be back to normal.  

 

Socially Distanced Get Together with Friends

The boys don't get to see much of each other these days, with 2 of them doing remote learning and the other 2 doing hybrid learning in small "pods".  Tonight they'll have a firepit in our backyard to get caught up with one another.

 

Bear Garden Hill - Concord

Keeping up our streak of new weekly hikes.  Today we explored Bear Garden Hill in Concord.

Firetower Trail

It's sort of become traditional to hike the Firetower Trail when we come to Pawtuckaway.  

It's a beautiful view from the top.

Love having a waterfront campsite.  Definitely one of the best parts about Pawtuckaway.

 

Pawtuckaway - Boulder Fields

Today we explored the Boulder Fields at Pawtuckaway.  

We've also got some pretty awesome boulders right in our campsite.

Beautiful Weather for Camping....

 First camping trip of the season.... This will be GREAT! 😳

We'll just need to bundle up.

And maybe eat our meals indoors.  It was raining upon arrival, but we're happy the snow didn't stick.

This is the first time that we've been at this campground "pre-season".  We didn't realize that "pre-season" means that there is no running water available, and the bathroom facilities are not open.  Thank goodness we have the camper!

Exploring Concord

Today we explored another new trail, this time in Concord.

Even though it wasn't exactly ice cream weather, we stopped for a treat at Kimball's in Carlisle on the drive home.  First ice cream of the season.

 

Online Library Cooking Class

The young chefs are at it again!  Fettuccine alfredo today. Yum!

 

Easter Fun

The Easter Baskets were found before Sean & I even woke up.
