Birthday Campout -- in the backyard

Aiden had his pals over for a birthday campout in the backyard.  Half of them are Scouts and they camp in any weather.  I was pleasantly surprised that even the non-scout kids agreed to camp out, despite the less than perfect weather.  It kinda drizzled all night, but they still managed to have a fun time together!

Tent city.  Individual tents for all, due to COVID.

Dad made pancakes for everyone for breakfast in the morning.  8 teenage boys = a LOT of pancakes!

 

Black Belt

Aiden was officially awarded his black belt in Taekwondo after 8 years of practicing the art.  We are so proud of you for sticking with it, Aiden!  You've come a long way since becoming a "little dragon" when you were 6 years old.  It's been rewarding to see you learn and grow throughout the years.  Congratulations!  XOXO

Adventure Park ~ Killington

The 8th Grade Crew

This picture was supposed to be a joke, but it turned out to be no joke at all.  Aiden took a spill running on some pavement, and the resulting flesh wound ended up getting infected over the course of the weekend.  Luckily, he had his well visit with his doctor the day after he returned from this trip.  He's on antibiotics and is out of swim team and cross country for a couple weeks, but he'll survive.  It's quite an ugly wound.

 

Killington Trip with Boy Scouts

The boys are off to Killington this weekend where they will be having some fun at an adventure park.  Have fun boys!

 

Party Favors

Bree and her friends are throwing a suprise birthday party for their bunny-loving friend Allison.  Today her and Aly are making bunny cookies to give as party favors.  🐰

 

White Lake State Park

We had such a great time in the White Mountains back in June, that we decided to come explore other areas this weekend.  It's so beautiful here!

 

Wedding Day!!

 Auntie Renee and Adam are FINALLY tying the knot today!  Sadly, they had to postpone their wedding last year because of COVID.  We are just all so excited to celebrate their marriage today!!  XOXO

Tomorrow's The Big Day

Auntie Renee and Uncle Adam are FINALLY tying the knot this weekend.  COVID delayed their wedding a year (after an excruciatingly long engagement....), but here we are!  It's rehearsal night.  YAY!!!
