Lowell Summer Concert Series for Kids

The Lowell Summer Concert Series has free daytime shows for kids throughout the summer. It was a beautiful day for their kick-off with Ben Rudnick & Friends.

Trolly rides are available after the show. The boys loved it, but Bree was DONE. She fell asleep in my arms 5 minutes into our ride, and didn't even wake up when I carried her to the parking garage, drove home, and transferred her to her crib. If I recall, she slept another 2 hours once we were home. The sun really does her in....

Cindy had a spectacular idea to build a new Children's Garden near the kids' swing set -- sort of a whimsical wild garden. Very cute! Here's a few pics.

Aunt Cindy's Big Helper

Aunt Cindy made a special visit to help us spruce up our yard with her magical green thumb. Aiden was her special helper all weekend!

Golf lessons from Grampy....hmmm....I wonder if that's such a good idea....

Last weekend Uncle Barrio put his sailboat in the water, just for Aiden. This weekend he took us out for the maiden sail of the summer.

Look whose in charge of the sheet! (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, it's because you didn't get the sailing terminology lesson that Aiden & I got during our voyage.)

The Lake

Uncle Barrio was WAY more fun to hang out with in the water than Mommy.

Aiden was quite brave in the water by the end of our visit to Grammy & Grampy's lake house.

Aiden not only got to pet the lobster, but he also tried (and liked!) it for the first time.
