Beantown

Taking advantage of Dad's unexpected "vacation" to enjoy some time in the city.

First stop was the USS Constitution.

Ready, aim, fire!

Next up was a climb up the Bunker Hill Monument.  Who knew 294 steps could make your legs turn to jello for the rest of the day?

The Institute of Contemporary Art was pretty cool.  This was a first visit for all of us.

Yes, that's Bree photobombing in the upper right corner.  Creating her own form of contemporary art! 😂

Aiden & Dad may have set a world record for the longest running game of giant Jenga in a park outside of the ICA.  It was INTENSE!

We took the kids to one of our old haunts in Southie -- Castle Island.

Capped off the day with a nice dinner at Gas Light in the South End.  Great to be back in the city again!

And The Day's Not Over Yet.....

As if 10 hours at the Wedgewood pool wasn't enough, now we had to our pool for the end of season banquet.....

Someone was very happy to also have received a medal for her free relay today.  Great season, Aiden & Bree!  Keep swimming fast.  ðŸ’š

Champs!

Up bright and early for Colonial League Championships this morning.  Someone's excited....

And we're off!

Peace

Groovy girls

WST's 70's theme for the parade was pretty fun!

Getting ready for the medley relay.

Competing against one of his besties for back stroke today.  Good luck, boys!

Found a friend from "that other team". 😋

Aiden was psyched to have made podium this year - for backstroke, of course.

Swim Team Talent Show

Bree was part of a trio this year for her viola performance.  The girls played really well together!  They play Frere Jacques and the Star Wars theme song, with was really cool.
(Aiden and his buddies are apparently too cool for the talent show, now that they are middle school bound....)
