Brienne's Last Day of Preschool Celebration

My confident little preschooler's end of year ceremony was today.  You think she likes to "perform"?

"Squishing up" her "baby bumblebee".

So thrilled to receive her "diploma" from teachers Mrs. Martinec and Mrs. Oakleaf.  She truly had a great first year of preschool, and she loved every minute of it!

BFFs.  :-)

Party time!

Daddy's New Ride

In lieu of a new car (which had been in the talks for this summer) Daddy got a shiny new lawn mower.  Isn't it great?!?!  He better start leaving extra time when he needs to drive to the airport, though...

Dance Recital

Alas!  Brienne's big moment to shine is here!  And doesn't she just love being the center of attention.

Hey - look at me, too!

All ready of the "Rain Drop" dance.  I didn't get to see her off-stage before her clown dance, so unfortunately this is the only picture we managed to get in-costume.  (No flash photography was allowed during the recital, as not to distract the performers.)

Bravo, my sweet ballerina!  xoxo

Grammy, Grampy, Babchi, Auntie Deb and Johanna all joined us post-recital for pizza and cake to celebrate Bree's debut.  :-)

Sweaty Soccer Saturday

The heatwave continues....  Not the most ideal day for a soccer game, but the kids were troupers!  And boy, what a difference the new camera lens makes.  Check out that kick!  :-)

Always the clown….

Daddy's New Toy

Taking the new camera lens for a test run.  Hey - it works pretty well!  :-)

Another Hot One!

The water's still a little icy (after all it IS still May), but that would never stop Brienne.  She got some relief from the heat at our favorite local beach.

Aiden was content to watch and play around on the beach.

Beach Day!

It's a hot one today!  Good thing it was "beach day" at school.  And bonus, Mommy volunteered in Aiden's class today, so I got to see both of my kiddos having fun at the WPS "beach".  :-)

Bree said to her teacher, "I think I got more wet than I was supposed to get."

Meanwhile, Aiden steered clear of the sprinkler and got his entertainment making giant bubbles.
