Despite the snow on the ground, it was a nice day to enjoy nature on a little local hike.

Although we've seen "evidence" of deer in our yard since moving here 10 1/2 years ago, we've never actually seen any -- until this evening.  After spotting this one, another 3 showed up to the party.

Our cousins arrived last night, which means a fun day of skiing with Joe Joe, Liam and Uncle Barrio today too!

We had such an awesome weekend of skiing up here last month, that the kids and I came back for round #2.  Nice to be out here on a Friday.  Little to no crowds.  And we got to ski with Grammy & Grampy today!  Bonus!
