Although we've seen "evidence" of deer in our yard since moving here 10 1/2 years ago, we've never actually seen any -- until this evening. After spotting this one, another 3 showed up to the party.

13 was the most mule deer we had ever seen passing behind our backyard fence until this year. Colin counted 19 one cold winter day with lots of babies tagging along with their mommas.
