Aiden & I ran a road race today for a cause that's very near and dear to our hearts. This event honors the cousin of his two friends (pictured below) who lost her life in an act of domestic violence 9 years ago.
Very proud of this kid.....
.....not only for finishing, but for taking 1st place in his age group! Wow! I placed, too. First time I've ever won a medal for running. I think I came in 3rd for my age group. LOL!
Nice job, boys! It's was a steamy one.
