Nothing says Happy Mother's Day like driving a car full of teenagers to a swim meet! (Just teasing -- I loved every minute! And would have loved it more if spectators were allowed....) Every seat in my car was taken.
Bree swam yesterday, but came with me to drop off the "big kids" and pick up her friend who swam the morning session today.
Both kids had great times this weekend. Bree had a PR in the 50 free, and also placed 2nd. She took 3rd in the 50 fly, 6th in the 100 IM and 7th in the 100 free. Aiden swam his first 500 free on Friday night, and rocked it coming in first place. He also PR'd in 3 other events over the course of the weekend, placed 1st in two events, 2nd in 3 events, 3rd in one event, and 4th in another. Nicely done!
