Apple Picking

We did our first outing with the Chelmsford Mother's Club today -- apple and pumpkin picking at Parlee Farm. So many fun fall photos to share!

Buddies Ethan and Adam came along, too. (Thanks once again, Laura, for your innate ability to get my son to smile for the camera. Perhaps you can take their professional portraits this year. Haha!)

The hayride out to the apple orchard.

Twist and pull. Good job, Aiden.

Headed back to the farm with their plunder.

Never seen my kids devour apples like this. Evidence that they taste better when you pick 'em yourself... :-)

Still going to town. She did not stop, until the ENTIRE apple was gone. She literally ate every bite, except for the stem (which she so kindly handed to me covered in slobber).

Thank goodness Brienne was too consumed with her apple to follow Aiden on the hay maze. Rather than go into the maze and find their way out, most of the kids were running (full speed) on top of the hay maze. Although they were totally missing the point, they certainly got their exercise for the day!
